A lovely hotel close to M1 junction 21. Staff are friendly and attentive. The menu is very limited if you are veggie or vegan. However, staff did their best to try and accommodate our requirements. (We gave them 4 stars because of their limited menu)
One of the best hotels in the area. Good gym and convenient location. Always enjoy staying here although the Club Lounge is quite basic in terms of selection. The evening service is definitely not a meal replacement like some other Marriott properties.In case you encounter similar challenges, do want to mention that I was consistently unable to reach room service or front desk services via the room phone for the majority of my 6 night stay. Some nights I was able to reach someone after calling back repeatedly over the course of an hour but other nights I just had to give up as phone was never asked after 10 minutes of ringing.
Great hotel and service to hold a business meeting or event. The catering was superb and staff were excellent!. Would recommend it highly
We had an overnight stay here whilst my son recovered from an operation at Leicester hospital. We found our room to be very spacious for 3 adults, two king size beds, with all of the usual items available. We ordered room service and the food was excellent. The amount of choice a quantity of breakfast options available was astounding and everything we had was delicious.
The price charged for Christmas lunch in the restaurant was not good value. We were seated in area where the three of us had hardly any room to move. No effort was made to make the room festive. There was no table cloth on our table, it felt as though we were having Christmas lunch in a canteen. The food was fairly OK except for the sprouts which were stringy and tasteless. In all not a good experience. We will be looking for another venue Christmas 2019.
