Clean and tidy and Good location.
Held a wake in the restaurant. When paid up front I asked about features in the room. Everything I wanted was said to be there. On the day they were not available. When I asked I was told abruptly that I asked the wrong person. Also I was paying the bar bill and was told at the start that I would be told when it got close to my 100 limit. I was not told and when I went to pay the bill was 250! The same guy said he didnt say that and it included the 3 bottles of sparkling wine and tea and filter coffee (2 each). Blah, blah. Part of the bill was pints of IPA at 4.50 a pint, on special. There were half pints of IPA at 4, not on special. I shall never go near this hotel again. They are unprofessional and completely money grabbing. No wish to do a good job so they get repeat business.
Staff were great rooms are basic no complaints
Seen better days, better in than out. Staff very good. Cyclists chaining up bikes just outside g/floor window not good. You get what you pay for. Overall ok.
